On all of the WWII fighters I have, all tooltips are unreadable as the words are totally blacked out.

I've searched hard for a solution to this, it's puzzling.

Any Ideas?

Is this FSX or FS9?

Have you installed the WWII FIGHTERS 1.2 update? If so, what about the individual FSX patches? For example, the spitifire is here:

Did both and I still get the black tool tips.

Has anyone seen this ever? I just don't have any instances of this happening on record, but I have some dim recollection of something being the cause but cannot recall.

Hi,

I am having this exact problem. Is there a known solution?

Note, pop up tools work fine for me with all other aircraft (both default FSX and add-ons). Only the WWII Fighters have this problem.

Thanks!

Carl

You need FSX SP2 (Updated FSX) + The FSX patches from A2A

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I do have FSX SP2 and the updates for WWII fighters, but still have the tool tip problem.

OK. I received a reply from tech support. Installing the individual plane FSX updates (as opposed to the WWII Fighters 1.2 patch update) solved the problem. There are patches for all planes except the Zero.
